Group visits for children (non school groups)
Do you have a group of young people who wish to visit the museum?
This could be Cubs, Brownies, youth groups, and more.
We are offering sessions at the weekend – limited availability. Advanced booking required. Please note we are not able to run these sessions if family events are taking place.
Min 10 children, Max 25 children. Adult:Child ratio 1:6

Visit:Facilitated visit only
Details:This includes trail sheets (advance notice of your requirements needed) and use of a room for lunch. One of the Learning Team will be on hand to help with trails and for information.
Cost:£60 for up to 25 children

Visit:Facilitated handling session
Details:Handle a selection of artefacts with a member of the Learning Team to explain their history. (50 min) Plus trail sheets (advance notice of your requirements and theme needed) and use of a room for lunch.
Cost:£80 for up to 25 children

Visit:Facilitated workshop 1
Details:Option 1; a fun and informative workshop or a craft session (up to 1 hour) Includes use of a lunch room and trail sheets.
Cost:£95 for up to 25 children
Duration:Up to 2.5 hours

Visit:Facilitated workshop 2
Details:Option 2; workshop and craft session (approx. 90 min) Includes use of a lunch room and trail sheets.
Cost:£150 for up to 25 children

Visit:Self Led Visit
Details:We will email trail sheets for self photocopying ahead of time. For these visits we are unable to offer a room or team member. You are welcome to visit for this between 10am – 3.30pm on our open days (check calendar) but ask that you still book this visit.
