Group visits for children (non school groups)

Do you have a group of young people who wish to visit the museum?

This could be Cubs, Brownies, youth groups, and more.

We are able to offer sessions on a Saturday – limited availability. Advanced booking required. Please note we are not able to run these session if family or school events are taking place.

The range of options for group visits for children include:

One of the Learning Team will be on hand to help with trails and for information. Visit:Facilitated handling session	Details:Handle a selection of artefacts with a member of the Learning Team to explain their history. (50 min) Plus trail sheets and use of our ipad tours (advance notice of your requirements and theme needed) and use of a room for lunch. Up to 2 hours. (Time; 10.30am -12.30pm) (adult ratio 1:6) Min 15 children	Cost:£80 for up to 25 children	Duration:Up to 2 hours
Visit:Facilitated workshop 1	Details:Option 1; a fun and informative workshop or a craft session (up to 1 hour) Includes use of a lunch room, trail sheets and use of i-pads. (up to 2.5 hours total) (Time; 10am-12.30pm) (adult ratio 1:6) Min 15 children	Cost:£90 for up to 25 children	Duration:Up to 2.5 hours
Visit:Facilitated workshop 2	Details:Option 2; workshop and craft session (approx. 90 min) Includes use of a lunch room, trail sheets and use of i-pads. (up to 3 hours total) (Time; 10am-1pm) Min 15 children	Cost:£150 for up to 25 children	Duration:up to 3 hours
