The figure in the centre with his back towards us bears the Japanese crest (mon) of the Hashimoto family. This print also appears in a more colourful form with reds, greens and browns; as opposed to this image which is predominantly indigo (beroai) blue. The bridge is viewed from the Onmagayashi Bay.
