Make Your Own Myriorama Cards – Teenage Summer Programme
Fri 14th Aug 2026 -
11:00 - 16:00
Activity/Craft, Teenage Summer Programme
Create a set of illustrated cards that can be arranged into millions of different scenes — a Victorian invention, reimagined by you.
Myriorama cards were first popularised in 1820s Britain. The name comes from the Greek: myrios (many) and orama (view). Each card forms part of a larger scene that can be rearranged in endless combinations to tell different stories.
Join local artist Sam Lou to make your own set, inspired by the museum’s collection. All materials provided, no experience needed.
