The image is signed ‘Gakutei’ in red inside the cartouche on the right. The karako (Chinese child) and the ‘nunobukuro’, meaning ‘cloth sack’, indicate the god of fortune ‘Daikoku’. The series was privately published, referred to as a surimono print, for the Shippo poetry club.
