Our 20 year plan

Museums are changing. As you’ve probably noticed, museums are becoming fun and lively places to be and to get involved with. We’ve been looking ahead at what Maidstone Museums might be like in 20 Years’ time. This report lays out our first thoughts and during 2018 we’ll be doing a lot of work to find out what people who visit us and those who don’t, want to see their local museum to be like. We’ll be doing a lot less telling and a lot more listening so look out for chances to get involved and have your say in creating a new museum for the whole community.
