Maidstone in Black and White Art Competition

Calling all budding artists in Kent!

We are on the lookout for a single stunning black and white image of the borough to be used across a new range of gifts this Christmas.

The competition is open to everyone aged 6 and above in Kent, and can depict anything from a famous building in the borough to an Iguanodon! Just let your imagination run wild!

All we ask is that your design is of something exciting in Maidstone and that it’s black and white.

There are two categories for different age groups:

Category 13 years+

1st prize: See your drawing on a new range of Museum gifts, plus £75 shopping voucher for The Mall

2nd prize: £50 shopping voucher for The Mall

3rd prize: £25 shopping voucher for The Mall

Category 6-12 years

1st prize: £30 Waterstone’s Book Voucher and a king-sized dinosaur soft toy

2nd prize: £20 Waterstone’s Book Voucher and a large dinosaur soft toy

3rd prize: £10 Waterstone’s Book Voucher and a small dinosaur soft toy

The competition closes on Monday 31 July and the lucky winner will be announced on Monday 7 August 2017.
