Maidstone Young Artist Award 2022

Sat 30th Apr 2022 to Sat 9th Jul 2022 - All Day

This exciting bi-annual award is open to all young artists, up to 25 years old, living in the South East of England.

Our aim is to give young artists the chance to win the prestigious Maidstone Young Artist Award and a platform to exhibit and sell their artworks within the County Town’s museum, in the temporary exhibition galleries.

The theme for the competition this year was ‘Spirit of Kent’. This was interpreted in any way that the artists wished, but photography or digital media was not accepted due to the large amount of manipulation that can be done through various programmes.
