This Maidstone LitFest, join historian and author Amanda Harvey Purse for a fascinating talk inspired by her latest book, Henry’s Roses. While the book explores the lives of Elizabeth of York, Margaret of Scotland, and Mary of France, this event places special emphasis on Jacquetta of Luxembourg—a remarkable woman whose influence has long been overlooked, and her connections link right back to Maidstone.

Talk includes a Q&A session as well as a book signing.
