Starting with a talk by Professor Ronald Hutton (University of Bristol) A History of Christmas Customs.

Followed by a panel discussion with Dr Geoff Doel (Folklore of Kent, reissue of Maylam’s The Hooden Horse), George Frampton (Discordant Comicals) and Ben Jones (St Nicholas-at-Wade Hoodeners, hoodening.org.uk, Ozaru Books).

 

Evening event running 6pm – 8pm (please arrive no more than 10 minutes before start)
