Join us for an evening of folklore and traditional customs

Starting with a talk by Professor Ronald Hutton (University of Bristol) A History of Christmas Customs.

Followed by a panel discussion with Dr Geoff Doel (Folklore of Kent, reissue of Maylam’s The Hooden Horse), George Frampton (Discordant Comicals) and Ben Jones (St Nicholas-at-Wade Hoodeners, hoodening.org.uk, Ozaru Books).

 

Evening event running 6pm – 8pm

Arrive at 5pm to view exhibition before talk.

Drinks served from 5.30pm

Talk begins at 6pm.
