Maidstone Museum Opening Times

Maidstone Museum’s opening hours change throughout the year. Below you’ll find our full seasonal schedule, including opening times for the Queen’s Own Royal West Kent Museum.

We will be open again from Tuesday 7 – Saturday 11 April 2026, and then back to our normal opening times.

General Opening Hours

Open: 10am – 4pm
Last entry: 3.30pm
Closed: Sundays

Low Season (Term Time)

(Following KCC’s published school term dates)

Open: Wednesday – Saturday, 10am – 4pm (last entry 3.30pm)
Closed: Sunday – Tuesday

High Season (School Holidays)

(Following KCC’s school holiday dates)

Open: Monday – Saturday, 10am – 4pm (last entry 3.30pm)
Closed: Sundays

Maidstone Carriage Museum

The Maidstone Carriage Museum is currently closed.
It will reopen on Saturday 18 April, and from then will be open:

Saturdays and Sundays, 11am – 3pm
