This image shows fishing boats caught up int he hollow of a tsunami wave off the coast of Kanagawa. The image is taken from Hokusai’s celebrated print series of Mount Fuji and is the best known Japanese Print in the Western world. The series cemented his name as one of the six masters of woodblock printing.
