Each loan box contains a range of materials to support teaching and learning, which may include:
- Artefacts and replica objects
- Background information and guidance
- Suggested activities and ideas for use in the classroom
Loan boxes are designed to be flexible and can be used as part of a wider topic, alongside a museum visit, or as a standalone resource.
We offer loan boxes linked to a range of curriculum areas.

- Loan boxes are booked in advance
- Collected from the museum on a given date
- Used in school over a half-term period
- Returned on given dates at the end of the loan.
