October Half Term – Make It! Crafts 2026

We’re all ready for October half term with three days of story book themed Make It! sessions for children.

Inspired by Maidstone LitFest, these crafts promote reading in young ones. If you’d like more activities relating to books, check out our Stories & Rhymes monthly programme!

3 sessions per day:

Session 1: 10.15am – 11.15am

Session 2: 11.30am – 12.30pm

Session 3: 1.30pm – 2.30pm

Ideal for ages 4 – 11 years

£3.75 per child per session. An adult must stay with child/ren. Activities take 30-50 mins to complete.

Each session will start with the story, read by one of the team, followed by a craft linked to the story.
