A collection of signalling instruments whose sounds had a specific function, part of 19th century agricultural life in England. On loan from The Horniman Museum and Gardens, with thanks to Object in Focus, funded by Arts Council England. Complemented by rare surviving objects of Kentish tradition, including hooden horses, from our own collections.

This exhibition is free.
