Past, Present and Future of a Bronze Age hoard: conservation and research in action

Sophia describes the history of this 64kg of metal objects; the present day work on cleaning and researching the objects; and future plans for the display and preservation of the hoard. The project is led by Dr Sophia Adams and funded by The William and Edith Oldham Charitable Trust.
Conservation work is being undertaken by Dana Goodburn Brown with support from Maidstone Museum.
The hoard will feature in a special exhibition at the museum in the future.
