Temporary Egyptian Display – Closure Date

Maidstone Museum
25th May 2017
By Maidstone Museum

As part of Maidstone Museum’s Ancient Lives gallery project, in association with the Heritage Lottery Fund, our Egyptian display has been temporarily housed in one of our smaller exhibition galleries. In preparation for the next phase of the project, the temporary display will be open to the public for the last time on Sunday June 4.

Ta Kush will then be removed and placed into stores, along with the large case that held her, ready to be reinstalled in the new Ancient Lives gallery later this year.

The lift will still be available for use to access our ‘Japan: A Floating World in Print’ exhibition and the Japanese Gallery.

For more information, please contact the museum directly.
