Maidstone Museum and Bentlif Art Gallery could be the perfect venue for your meeting, lecture, reception, party or corporate event.
We can offer you a choice of three rooms with a wide range of capacities, depending on your function. Two of our rooms can be laid out in a variety of styles to suit your needs including cabaret, boardroom, classroom, theatre, or standing only. This makes Maidstone Museum & Bentlif Art Gallery ideal for conferences, exhibitions, celebrations, networking functions, team building or as a training venue. The Museum can also be hired over night for groups by arrangement.
The Brenchley Gallery offers spaciousness, wheelchair access, exclusivity and elegance. It provides an opportunity for companies, groups or individuals to host events in a totally unique environment, whilst enjoying that special ambience of a historic building in a town centre location.
The Library is a versatile room where seating can be adapted to your needs. This room has a large leaded light window, mahogany bookcases and a beautiful stone fireplace. Power points have been fitted in many areas to suit your needs as well as wifi.
The Glass Room is part of the Museum’s new east wing. As suggested by the name the glass room has two glass walls with wonderful views of Brenchley Gardens. Built into this room are blinds, should you wish to limit the view in and out, air conditioning and a hearing loop. Seating arrangements are limited, as such this room is far more suited to smaller groups.
Room hire can include opportunities to view the Museums fascinating collections and we can discuss catering and other services and facilities which you might need.
